Jaewoong Eum is a Google Developer Expert (GDE) for Android, Kotlin, and Firebase. He has built and maintained more than 80 open-source libraries and projects, which are downloaded over 15 million times per year by developers worldwide.
He is the author of Practical Kotlin Deep Dive, a 492-page technical book that explores the how and why behind Kotlin. From language fundamentals and standard library internals, to coroutines, the K2 compiler, and Kotlin Multiplatform. The book is endorsed by four Google Developer Experts and is available in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, and Hindi.
Jaewoong also founded Dove Letter, a subscription-based knowledge base and course platform focused on Android, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin.
